Biker Chic - Styled Shoot

Where do I start, I’ve been wanting to do a styled shoot for years. I should have done this sooner.

Last Sunday me, Nicole, Chris, Mimi, Haniya, Tom, Aaron and Bekka descended on the Northern Quarter with the aim to wake everyone up with Toms Harley Davidson and create some rock chic.

Me and Nicole from Bridal Chic wanted to create something different, I love bikes and cars and Nicole had the perfect Bridal Designers/boutiques in mind to match this. I would have had 50 bikers, some fire breather’s maybe the odd tiger, my head is like Pandora’s Box but Nicole reigned me in. You should hear what I want to do for the next one!!!.

We set up camp in Kosmonaut and I would just like to say thankyou for letting us use your establishment . We also had the perfect black fronted El Cappo bar which worked hand in hand with the bike and our lovely Bride for the day Haniya.

I knew straight away who I would use for the bike, I’ve been friends with Tom for several years and share the same love of cars and bikes. His Harley was perfect for this shoot, might not have mentioned he would be a groom in some of the photos (sorry Tom) but I think he took too it pretty well.

I love Manchester and the variety of architecture, back streets, bars, gardens and graffiti is my ideal photography playground, its versatile rain or shine. I take a lot of my couples to Manchester for this reason. We also wanted a videographer and I knew straight away that I wanted Aaaron from Nicholas Visuals on this, ive worked with him in the past at weddings, he’s easy to get on with and great to work alongside with and he’s done the occasional TV fashion advert.

The model Haniya was recommended to us for someone young in the industry she absolutely smashed it, with Mimi from Mimi Lomax makeup turning her into the beautiful Boho Rock Chic that we wanted.

The gorgeous vibrant bouquet is from Paragon Floral Design, stunning bunch of bright colours popped out on this shoot, thank you lisa.

The Stunning Dresses where supplied by the lovely Bekka from Frock & Soul and Laura from Ella Moore Designs. I completely trust Nicole to choose the right designers and people to work with, we are on the same wave length.
